Edible Cake Toppers FAQs

Our icing sheets have a shelf life of up to 12 months when stored correctly. However, for the best results, we recommend using them within 2 months of printing to ensure the colours remain crisp and vibrant.

Please keep your icing sheets sealed in the original Ziploc bag until you are ready to use them.

Before handling the icing sheet, make sure your hands are completely dry. The topper should peel off easily – please do not force it.

If the icing sheet is sticking to the backing paper, this is usually due to temperature or humidity in the room. If this happens, place the icing sheet (still inside its Ziploc bag) into the freezer for 30 seconds to 1 minute, then try peeling again. Repeat if necessary.

This issue is very rare, as our icing sheets are specially designed to be Easy-Peel sheets for hassle-free application.

Icing sheets can be printed in advance and stored with the plastic backing intact until ready to use. Keep the sheet sealed in the zip-lock bag provided to prevent it from drying out.

As with all edible food colourings, images may fade if exposed to direct UV light. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight for best results.

Do not open the packaging until you are ready to apply the icing sheet to your cake or cupcakes.

Icing sheets do not require refrigeration. Refrigerating them may cause colour damage if exposed for prolonged periods.
